F.R. Drake Company, the world’s leading supplier of automatic loading systems for frankfurters, sausages, frozen hamburgers and other food products, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer. This individual will be responsible for control system programming and panel design for OEM equipment. This person will write and modify programming code for PLCs, Servos, and HMIs. The Engineer will generate CAD electrical control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical and assist in testing, trouble-shooting, and debugging programs. Drake offers an exciting work environment and state-of-the-art resources. The successful candidate must be exceptionally productive, a good problem solver, persistent, well organized, and consistent with detail follow-up. We are looking for a “top 10 % performer” to join our talented team of engineers and to grow with the company. The ideal candidate will possess a BSEE and a minimum of 2 years experience. Experience with custom machine design, the food processing industry, or conveyor systems is preferred. Experience with Allen-Bradley controls systems, robotics, UL and CE requirements is a plus. We will teach the food process industry to the candidate who has exceptional aptitude, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn. Limited travel to customer sites is required. BRAKE OPERATOR/METAL MECHANIC
F.R. Drake Company is currently taking applications for this position. The primary responsibilities for this position include measuring, bending, and forming metal components to print specifications using a CNC press brake. The candidate will also program the press brake to run these parts according to print specifications. The candidate should have a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience in a metal working shop and be able to accurately read a measuring tape and angle finder. 8 hours per day, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
