The Hilliard Clutch

Question: What must be done to ensure the Stripper Clutch operates consistently?

Answer: Lubrication is the key. The Hilliard Clutch should last for years as long as the unit is lubricated. Three drops weekly, using standard SAE 10W oil, is all that is needed. The oil insertion point is indicated by the A arrow in the picture. Occasionally, the bridge rectifier will require replacement (PN02810-28). This is indicated by the B arrow.

Richard Conway has been named the new Director of European Sales. This appointment continues our company’s planned expansion. Drake’s growth has also been marked by the acquisition of the specialty Food Loading Division of Planet Products Corporation in 2007.

Conway has extensive sales experience in the food packaging and processing equipment industry throughout Europe. Fluent in five languages and based in the Netherlands, he will head a sales team creating the best loading solutions for customer applications. Mr. Conway‘s technical expertise will be an asset in this role as liaison for the integration of the production line, answering the need for optimum speed, versatility, and productivity.

These items are critical to the machine operation. If it has been a while since you have reviewed your list, or you cannot locate it, please contact us with the serial numbers of your loaders.
